LO purifiers are one of, another important machinery on board. Normally Main Engine LO purifier which use to operate 24×7 while keeping other LO purifier standby to run in case of failure of the running purifier, takes suction from main engine sump with either FWD or AFT suction and runs back to sump keep Main Engine LO purify at all the time.
Its essential to have GE LO purifier also running to the Running generator and change over purification to standby generators time to time.
With the request of ship managers Team CIAP engaged with overhauling, and rectification of purifiers and purifier Automation system. Both LO purifiers Complete overhaul done and fitted new PLC and rectified issues with three way valved malfunction and excessively injecting of Displacement water.
Team able to do the service successfully and hand over both systems to ships staff.
