Work : Domestic refrigeration system servicing.
Refrigeration systems are one of the critical and most important systems on board vessels. Provision
plants, Accommodation AC , Chill water plants for stern tube cooling and etc.
CIAP consists with highly experience educated team for repairing, troubleshooting and servicing of all
kind of ref plants.
We would like to share another successful project done by team CIAP on board a vessel. Yard offered
the project to us for servicing of ships domestic refrigeration plant which was unable top maintain their
cold room temperatures.
Complete system opened up, flushed, pressure tested, leak rectified followed by another complete
system pressure testing. After proper gas tightness and same confirmed by the vessel staff system
vacuumed and gas charged to the system. All the filters replaced expansion valve adjusted and meat
room, fish room and vegi room temperatures dropped to -18C, -17.5C and +4C respectively.
Proper refrigeration system servicing taking approximately two days to complete the service followed
up the test run and final adjusting.
