Team CIAP #CIAP riding team, led by well experienced qualified Service Engineer joined vessel @ Galle OPL on her way to Mediterranean Ocean, After boarding the vessel team discussed the work plan and procedures with ships staff and commenced overhauling of GE number 1.
Well Experienced team carried out full overhauling of GE including,
Cylinder heads complete overhaul and reconditioning,
Piston complete overhaul and measurement,
Removing of Liners and calibration,
Fuel Pumps Complete overhaul,
Fuel injectors complete overhaul and setting up of opening pressure,
Piston rods overhaul and proper clearance of marine heads.
Main bearing inspection and all the necessary components calibration done.
After proper repair engine assembled and started.
Engine feel over and running-in successfully completed and noticed proper aprox even temperature distribution on the bearings and components.
Engine gradually loaded up and same properly handed over to ship staff.
Team disembarked from OPL Gall on her way back to Singapore.
