Overhaul domestic Ref system Compressor

Location: Ship Yard – Sri Lanka
 
Scope: Domestic Ref system Compressor to be overhaul, New compressor to Install, All cold room system flush, Pressure test, leak rectification, and commissioning
 

CIAP personal successfully completed another work in Domestic refrigeration system in Dredger.

One Compressor completely overhauled with new spare, system Flushed with nitrogen, and pressure tested. Kept More than 12 hrs to check the system leaks and noticed few leaks. Same rectified by brazing. The system again pressure tested and found holding the pressure. System vacuumed, and started after gas charging and found cold room temperature maintain -15C.

Following work has been carried out apart from above.

New Compressor installed in a standby system.

Both condensers cleaned.
